The truth about our existence

A shock to the system

It is a great shock to find out the truth behind our existence, and a challenge to deal with that truth.

No answers

I haven’t got any answers, and there are some people who may believe that it is better not to know, and they may be right. It is certainly more comfortable to take the blue pill of compliance.

My belief

I believe that it is imperative to know exactly what kind of existence that you do want, and only when you have worked this out for yourself will you be able to achieve it.

The ‘powers that be’ work on your ignorance of this fact, hoping that you will play into their hands by revolting against their hierarchy, whilst having nothing to take its place.

Nature abhors a vacuum

Any vacuum will be filled, and will be filled with more of the same or worse.

Main Stream Media tells us what will happen

In an exclusive interview published March 25 in Le Monde (French MSM) Glen Sweetnam, the Obama administration’s official expert on the oil market, confirmed nearly every element of the “Peak Oil” scenario that many analysts both in and outside the oil industry have warned of for years:

• A decline of world oil production could begin soon—perhaps next year, and
• Only extraordinary levels of investment by the oil industry can maintain current rates of production much longer.

After decades of ignoring the “Peak Oil” theory that predicts global oil production will peak and then rapidly decline, Sweetnam’s admission marks a profound shift in the U.S. government’s position on energy depletion.

This is a mendacious statement, there is no lack of oil, but lack will be manufactured, and it will create the chaos that goes with the situation.

The detergent cleansers

Detergents are substances that act as cleansing agents when mixed with water.

Most soap-less detergents are made from oil products. The soap-less detergents include powders and liquids used to wash clothes and dishes in a dishwasher although it is possible to wash dishes by hand. Some are made using petrochemicals, while others are made using alcohols and ethylene oxide that are petrochemical products.

The way we dress

Through refining, petroleum can be turned into many types of petrochemicals. One of these is synthetic (man-made) fibres, which can be woven into curtains and carpets, clothing fabric and most feminine hygiene products.

Man-made fibres are often wrinkle-free, so they look better. Many also do not absorb water, so mould and mildew are much less of a nuisance.

How we grow

Fertilizers increase crop yields, as well as make the plants in your windowsill look nice. Some of the chemicals in this fertilizer came from petroleum products causing huge damage to the environment, but we have to eat!!

The way we farm our food

Pesticides are among the many chemicals that my be used to protect crops. Much like fertilizers, oil is an important ingredient in many pesticides. Some people think that our food production would only be half of what it is today if pesticides were not used. Without the use of pesticides, food would cost much more than at present, and many people would have to pay more to eat nutritious meals. Again…the world has to eat!!

Food additives are yet another petrochemical. Many of these additives increase the shelf-life of canned food. This keeps the food fresh longer, and allows more people throughout the world to eat healthy.

The way we walk

Synthetic shoes are made from a petroleum product. Many rubber soles are also made from petroleum. Natural rubber becomes sticky when hot and stiff when cold, but man-made rubber stays much more flexible.

The way we drive

Car tires are made from synthetic rubber, which makes them much safer to drive on. Today, the demand for synthetic rubber is four-times greater than for natural rubber.

The way we heal

Some medicines, such as penicillin, are made by organisms, but most are manufactured from chemicals, and many of these are made from petroleum products. Acetylsalicylic acid, or ASA, is the active ingredient in many of the well-known, over-the-counter pain relievers. ASA is manufactured from petrochemicals. One of the first uses of oil, dating back thousands of years, was as medicine.

The way we store food

Ethylene is one of the by-products of distilling oil. (Distilling simply means heating. Since oil is made of various substances, these substances will boil off at different temperatures as oil is heated). It can be made softer and used for film and garbage bags, or harder to make milk crates.

The way we write

The colour of most pen ink is the result of dyes. These dyes are made from petrochemicals.

The way we entertain our brain

Compact discs and cassette tapes ae made using petroleum products.
The way we pollute our homes

A candle is made from wax. Wax is a raw petroleum product. It is used to make candles, milk cartons and polishes.

Riots are not a solution

It doesn’t matter how oil becomes scarce, it will leave us all rioting for products that are no longer there. Rioting will merely provide the excuse to instigate martial law, and still you won’t have the necessities that allow you to feel clean and good about yourself.

The problem=reaction=solution equation

The great problem has been created, and you will find yourself begging the ‘government’ to find a solution. (The problem=reaction=solution equation) The solution however, will not be to your liking, but you will have no choice unless you learn to be self-sufficient.

Learn to Barter!

You can of course barter for the items that you need, and in my opinion this will be the only way for suburban families to survive. You will have your own ideas, but whatever they are: Plan Now!!

Americans stock up to be ready for end of the world
Recession and the constant threat of terrorist attacks have given new life to the ingrained survivalist instinct

Tess Pennington, 33, is a mother of three children, and lives in the sprawling outskirts of Houston, Texas. But she is not taking the happy safety of her suburban existence lightly.

Like a growing army of fellow Americans, Pennington is learning how to grow her own food, has stored emergency rations in her home and is taking courses on treating sickness with medicinal herbs.

“I feel safe and more secure. I have taken personal responsibility for the safety of myself and of my family,” Pennington said. “We have decided to be prepared. There all kinds of disasters that can happen, natural and man-made.”

Pennington is a “prepper”, a growing social movement that has been dubbed Survivalism Lite. Preppers believe that it is better to be safe than sorry and that preparing for disaster – be it a hurricane or the end of civilisation – makes sense.

Unlike the 1990s survivalists, preppers come from all backgrounds and live all over America. They are just as likely to be found in a suburb or downtown loft as a remote ranch in the mountains. Prepping networks, which have sprung up all over the country in the past few years, provide advice on how to prepare food reserves, how to grow crops in your garden, how to hunt and how to defend yourself. There are prepping books, online shops, radio shows, countless blogs, prepping courses and prepping conferences.

John Milandred runs a website called Pioneer Living, which is one of the main forums for discussing prepping. It provides a range of advice for those who just want to store extra food in case of a power cut, to those who want to embrace the “off the grid” lifestyle of America’s western pioneers. “We get inquiries from people from all walks of life. We had a principal from a school asking us to talk to their children. We have doctors and firemen and lawyers,” he said.

Milandred lives in Oklahoma and, should society collapse around him, he is well placed to flourish. Indeed, he might not notice that much. His house has a hand-dug well that gives him fresh water. He grows his own food. He has built an oven that needs neither gas nor electricity. He can hunt for meat. “If something happened, it really would not affect us,” he said.

There are several reasons for the rise of prepping. The first is that, in the post-9/11 world, mass terror attacks have become a fear for many Americans. At a time when US diplomacy is focused on preventing Iran getting nuclear weapons and terror experts continue to warn of “dirty bombs” on American soil, it is no surprise that many Americans feel threatened. Added to that paranoia has come the recession. Suddenly, millions of Americans have been losing their jobs and their homes, reinforcing a feeling that society is not as stable as it once seemed.

Hollywood has caught on. A succession of films, such as 2012, The Road, The Book of Eli and Legion, have tapped into an American Zeitgeist that is worried about the end of civilisation.

“Prepping masks a wide range of stances and ideologies. But the more people are prepared, the more they are likely to have an apocalyptic way of thinking,” said Professor Barry Brummett, of the University of Texas-Austin.

Even government officials have accepted that the financial crisis posed a threat to social order. In recent testimony before Congress, treasury secretary Tim Geithner admitted that top-level talks had been held on whether the US could enforce law and order in the wake of a collapse of the financial system.

Certainly, Tom Martin agrees. He runs the American Preppers Network, which helps provide a wide range of resources. Martin, a truck driver who lives in Idaho, believes that more and more people will become preppers. “Millions of people now have the mindset that they want to be prepared for something, but don’t know what to call it,” he said.

That rings true with Pennington. In the 1990s, survivalism was the province of anti-government militiamen or loners in the woods. But preppers are more concerned with stocking up on food and water and relearning skills so that they can fend for themselves.

To that end, Pennington has set up a website called Ready Nutrition, which teaches basic food skills to prepare for a time when pre-packaged goods at a supermarket might not be available: “Prepping is not taboo, like survivalism. There is no negative connotation to it. We are not rednecks. In many ways, our ancestors were preppers. So were the Native Americans. It is just going back to being able to look after yourself.”

My Belief

If there is no reasonable argument against people who are reading the signs and coming to the right conclusion, then the last recourse of the establishment is derision.

Qui Bono (Who Benefits?)

Why wouldn’t anyone want you to be self sufficient in the event of an ice storm or a hurricane or a power cut? It seems like common sense to have extra food and water to cope with any of the disasters that have struck in the last year. Then why isn’t it commended in the national press? Because if you can cope you won’t panic, and if you don’t panic you won’t riot, and if you don’t riot martial law is rendered un-necessary, and then how will martial law be sold to the people?

Learn from all sources

Learn and then learn some more, you can’t have enough knowledge. The supermarkets may only be closed for two weeks, by which time you and your family will be very hungry. Perhaps unable to survive if you don’t have a water source, and all because you allowed yourself to be intimidated by those who have a vested interest in your demise.

Death of the Internet Imminent…

The Rothschild High Jump

However, if a Rothschild says jump the U.K. government asks “How high?” We now know how high. Western countries will have the same internet service as China. The I.S.P.s won’t have a choice and neither will we.

The question that we need to ask ourselves is how are we going to get around censorship.

A winning position?

We can protest, which will achieve nothing. We can riot, thus giving the ‘authorities’ the right to beat us black and blue and bring in martial law for ‘our’ own protection or we can use our brains.

Disappearing Sites

Sites like this one will eventually disappear…but how much more do we need to know about what is going to happen? It is happening now, and coming to terms with that is painful, but there have always been ways to subvert dictatorships, and quiet persistence has always triumphed over brute force.

Your Choice

There is no ‘right’ way for you to continue your life in a comfortable fashion, you need to decide that for yourselves. Remember that charismatic leaders usually turn out to have feet of clay, therefore following is not a good option, be they politician or theologian, all will have a different agenda from you.

Read and digest this article from ‘Infowars’ and although Alex Jones is often sensationalist is his delivery, and sometimes has questionable motives, there is often much truth to be found and is therefore one source of information.

The Waiting Game

We will have to wait and see just how this plays out, and how many sites just disappear and I shall be monitoring this closely before deciding what to do.

Death Of The Internet: Censorship Bills In UK, Australia, U.S. Aim To Block “Undesirable” Websites

Internet censorship bills currently working their way into law in the UK, Australia and the U.S. legislate for government powers to restrict and filter any website that it deems to be undesirable for public consumption.

In the UK, legislation slated as the “Digital Economy Bill“, currently being debated in the House of Lords, would allow the Home Secretary to place “a technical obligation on internet service providers” to block whichever sites it wishes.

Under clause 11 of the proposed legislation “technical obligation” is defined as follows:

A “technical obligation”, in relation to an internet service provider, is an obligation for the provider to take a technical measure against particular subscribers to its service.

A “technical measure” is a measure that — (a) limits the speed or other capacity of the service provided to a subscriber; (b) prevents a subscriber from using the service to gain access to particular material, or limits such use; (c) suspends the service provided to a subscriber; or (d) limits the service provided to a subscriber in another way.

In other words, the government will have the power to force ISPs to downgrade and even block your internet access to certain websites or altogether if it wishes.

The legislation comes in the wake of amplified UK government efforts to seize more power over the internet and those who use it.

For months now unelected “Secretary of State” Lord Mandelson has overseen government efforts to challenge the independence of the of UK’s internet infrastructure.

Mandelson also wants to impose harsh policies, via the Digital Economy Bill, that would see users’ broadband access cut off indefinitely, in addition to a fine of up to £50,000 without evidence or trial, if they download copyrighted music and films. The plan has been identified as “potentially illegal” by experts.

The legislation would impose a duty on ISPs to effectively spy on all their customers by keeping records of the websites they have visited and the material they have downloaded. ISPs who refuse to cooperate could be fined £250,000.

As Journalist and copyright law expert Cory Doctrow has noted, the bill also gives the Secretary of State the power to make up as many new penalties and enforcement systems as he likes, without Parliamentary oversight or debate.

This could include the authority to appoint private militias, who will have the power to kick you off the internet, spy on your use of the network, demand the removal of files in addition to the blocking of websites.

Mandelson and his successors will have the power to invent any penalty, including jail time, for any digital transgression he deems Britons to be guilty of.

Despite being named the Digital Economy Bill, the legislation contains nothing that will actually stimulate the economy and is largely based on shifting control over the internet into government hands, allowing unaccountable bureaucrats to arbitrarily hide information from the public should they wish to do so.

Mandelson began the onslaught on the free internet in the UK after spending a luxury two week holiday at Nat Rothschild’s Corfu mansion with multi-millionaire record company executive David Geffen.

The Digital Economy Bill is intrinsically linked to long term plans by the UK government to carry out an unprecedented extension of state powers by claiming the authority to monitor all emails, phone calls and internet activity nationwide.

Last year the government announced its intention to create a massive central database, gathering details on every text sent, e-mail sent, phone call made and website visited by everyone in the UK.

The programme, known as the “Interception Modernisation Programme”, would allow spy chiefs at GCHQ, the government’s secret eavesdropping agency, the centre for Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) activities (pictured above), to effectively place a “live tap” on every electronic communication in Britain in the name of preventing terrorism.

Following outcry over the announcement, the government suggested last April that it was scaling down the plans, with then Home Secretary Jacqui Smith stating that there were “absolutely no plans for a single central store” of communications data.

However, as the “climbdown” was celebrated by civil liberties advocates and the plan was “replaced” by new laws requiring ISPs to store details of emails and internet telephony for just 12 months, fresh details emerged indicating the government was implementing a big brother spy system that far outstrips the original public announcement.

The London Times published leaked details of a secret mass internet surveillance project known as “Mastering the Internet” (MTI).

Costing hundreds of millions in public funds, the system is already being implemented by GCHQ with the aid of American defence giant Lockheed Martin and British IT firm Detica, which has close ties to the intelligence agencies.

A group of over 300 internet service providers and telecommunications firms has attempted to fight back over the radical plans, describing the proposals as an unwarranted invasion of people’s privacy.

Currently, any interception of a communication in Britain must be authorised by a warrant signed by the home secretary or a minister of equivalent rank. Only individuals who are the subject of police or security service investigations may be subject to surveillance.

If the GCHQ’s MTI project is completed, black-box probes would be placed at critical traffic junctions with internet service providers and telephone companies, allowing eavesdroppers to instantly monitor the communications of every person in the country without the need for a warrant.

Even if you believe GCHQ’s denial that it has any plans to create a huge monitoring system, the current law under the RIPA (the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act) allows hundreds of government agencies access to the records of every internet provider in the country.In publicly announced proposals to extend these powers, firms will be asked to collect and store even more vast amounts of data, including from social networking sites such as Facebook.

If the plans go ahead, every internet user will be given a unique ID code and all their data will be stored in one place. Government agencies such as the police and security services will have access to the data should they request it with respect to criminal or terrorist investigations.

This is clearly the next step in an incremental program to implement an already exposed full scale big brother spy system designed to completely obliterate privacy, a fundamental right under Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights.

Similar efforts to place restrictions on the internet are unfolding in Australia where the government is implementing a mandatory and wide-ranging internet filter modeled on that of the Communist Chinese government.

Australian communication minister Stephen Conroy said the government would be the final arbiter on what sites would be blacklisted under “refused classification.”

The official justification for the filter is to block child pornography, however, as the watchdog group Electronic Frontiers Australia has pointed out, the law will also allow the government to block any website it desires while the pornographers can relatively easily skirt around the filters.

Earlier this year, the Wikileaks website published a leaked secret list of sites slated to be blocked by Australia’s state-sponsored parental filter.

The list revealed that blacklisted sites included “online poker sites, YouTube links, regular gay and straight porn sites, Wikipedia entries, euthanasia sites, websites of fringe religions such as satanic sites, fetish sites, Christian sites, the website of a tour operator and even a Queensland dentist.”

The filter will even block web-based games deemed unsuitable for anyone over the age of fifteen, according to the Australian government.

The broad attack on the free internet is not only restricted to the UK and Australia.

The European Union, Finland, Denmark, Germany and other countries in Europe have all proposed blocking or limiting access to the internet and using filters like those used in Iran, Syria, China, and other repressive regimes.

In 2008 in the U.S., The Motion Picture Association of America asked president Obama to introduce laws that would allow the federal government to effectively spy on the entire Internet, establishing a system where being accused of copyright infringement would result in loss of your Internet connection.

In 2009 the Cybersecurity Act was introduced, proposing to allow the federal government to tap into any digital aspect of every citizen’s information without a warrant. Banking, business and medical records would be wide open to inspection, as well as personal instant message and e mail communications.

The legislation, introduced by Senators John Rockefeller (D-W. Va.) and Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) in April, gives the president the ability to “declare a cybersecurity emergency” and shut down or limit Internet traffic in any “critical” information network “in the interest of national security.” The bill does not define a critical information network or a cybersecurity emergency. That definition would be left to the president, according to a Mother Jones report.

During a hearing on the bill, Senator John Rockefeller betrayed the true intent behind the legislation when he stated, “Would it have been better if we’d have never invented the Internet,” while fearmongering about cyber attacks on the U.S. government and how the country could be shut down.

The Obama White House has also sought a private contractor to “crawl and archive” data such as comments, tag lines, e-mail, audio and video from any place online where the White House “maintains a presence” – for a period of up to eight years.

Obama has also proposed scaling back a long-standing ban on tracking how people use government Internet sites with “cookies” and other technologies.

Recent disclosures under the Freedom Of Information Act also reveal that the federal government has several contracts with social media outlets such as Youtube (Google), Facebook, Myspace and Flickr (Yahoo) that waive rules on monitoring users and permit companies to track visitors to government web sites for advertising purposes.

The U.S. military also has some $30 Billion invested in it’s own mastering the internet projects.

We have extensively covered efforts to scrap the internet as we know it and move toward a greatly restricted “internet 2″ system. All of the above represents stepping stones toward the realisation of that agenda.

The free internet is under attack the world over, only by exposing the true intentions of our governments to restrict the flow of data can we defeat such efforts and preserve the last vestige of independent information.

I don’t know of any conspiracy to make Cannabis illegal because it is the best medicine for Swine Flu, if this were the case it must have been known many years ago that flu would be used as a depopulation tool, which doesn’t seem plausible. However we know now…and governments aren’t interested.

The recipe below for Cayenne Tincture can also be followed using Cannabis plant material. The only way that you will be able to obtain Cannabis tincture at the moment is by prescription, but often this is synthetic and un-helpful, as the plant works synergistically while synthesized drugs do not.

The answer is to grow it yourself. There are reams of instructions on the web which explain how to grow it. Unfortunately most sites suggest smoking the herb. I do not recommend this. Any inhalation of any smoke includes tar and any tar is carcinogenic to the lungs.

About the H5N1 Bird Flu and H1N1 Swine Flu Strains

The H5N1 bird flu currently has 63% lethality. A swine-derived H1N1 strain was responsible for 20,000,000 influenza associated deaths in 1918 (more than killed by World War I). The current lethal outbreak of swine flu (H1N1) in Mexico has killed over 80 people and infected more than 1,400 others. There are 20 confirmed cases in the United States, with reports of infections in Texas, New York, Ohio, California and Kansas. Additional reports identify possible cases in New Zealand, Canada, Spain, France and Israel. The H1N1 Swine flu is a porcine respiratory disease caused by type A flu viruses. Human cases occur in people who are around pigs, but an infected person can transmit the disease to another person. Symptoms include a high fever, body aches, coughing, sore throat and respiratory congestion.

Our product, broadly described, is medical cannabis – a term which encompasses a wide variety of products, ranging from plants grown by patients for their own use to pharmaceutical products developed from one or more of the cannabinoid compounds found in the whole cannabis plant.

Cannabinoids are a group of terpenophenolic compounds present in Cannabis (Cannabis sativa L). Currently, 538 natural compounds were identiﬁed from this plant. 43 of these 108 are identiﬁed as cannabinoids, which are C21 compounds uniquely present in Cannabis sativa L. There are ten main types of cannabinoids and fourteen different cannabinoid subtypes. Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the principal psychoactive ingredient in cannabis, but it also has other effects. Cannabidiol (CBD) and cannabinol (CBN) are the other two most prevalent natural cannabinoids and have received the most study. All three are listed as ingredients in Sativex®, the only multi-cannabinoid medicine currently approved for marketing (only in Canada.)

Cannabinoids were first discovered in the 1940s, when CBD and CBN were identified. THC was not identified until 1964, but by that time cannabis had been removed from the pharmacopeiae of most countries, making further research on the plant difficult.

There are three general types of cannabinoids:

1 Phytocannabinoids occur uniquely in the cannabis plant.

2 Endogenous cannabinoids are produced in the bodies of humans and other animals.

3 Synthetic cannabinoids are similar compounds produced in a laboratory. Forms of synthetic THC are available by prescription in a number of countries, including the US. In the US, synthetic THC is marketed as Marinol®.

Phytocannabinoids, also called natural cannabinoids, herbal cannabinoids, and classical cannabinoids, are only known to occur naturally in significant quantity in the cannabis plant. They are concentrated in a viscous resin that is produced in glandular structures known as trichomes, and are most prevalent in the flowers of the female plants.

Cannabinoid receptors in the human body were not discovered until 1990. CB1 receptors are found primarily in the brain, specifically in the basal ganglia and in the limbic system, including the hippocampus. They are also found in the cerebellum and in both male and female reproductive systems.

CB1 receptors appear to be responsible for the euphoric and anti-convulsive effects of cannabis.

Cannabinoid pharmaceuticals, unlike many other pharmaceutical compounds, do not represent a risk factor for respiratory or cardiovascular failure. Cannabis has been called one of the safest drugs known by Federal Judge Young in 1977. In fact, there is no known lethal dose of cannabis. It has an estimated therapeutic index of 40,000 to one as compared to aspirin with a therapeutic index of 15.

CB2 receptors are found almost exclusively in the immune system, with the greatest density in the spleen. CB2 receptors appear to be responsible for the anti-inflammatory and possibly other therapeutic effects of cannabis.

The endocannabinoid system refers to a group of neuromodulators and receptors involved in a variety of physiological processes including appetite, pain sensation, mood, and memory. The system is named for endocannabinoids, the endogenous lipids that bind cannabinoid receptors (the same receptors that mediate the psychoactive effects of cannabis).

Science increasingly recognizes the role that endo-cannabinoids play in almost every major life function in the human body. Cannabinoids act as a bio regulatory mechanism for most life processes, which explains why medical cannabis has been recommended as a treatment for many diseases and ailments in anecdotal reports and scientific literature. Some of these ailments include: Pain, arthritic conditions, migraine headaches, anxiety, epileptic seizures, insomnia, loss of appetite, GERD (chronic heartburn), nausea, glaucoma, AIDS wasting syndrome, depression, bipolar disorder (particularly depression-manic-normal), multiple sclerosis, menstrual cramps, Parkinson’s, trigeminal neuralgia (tic douloureux), high blood pressure, irritable bowel syndrome, and bladder incontinence.

Cannabis has been used medicinally for thousands of years in China, India and the Middle East. Of course, most traditional medicines were plant-based, but until recently no one knew how or why they worked. Modern science now routinely verifies the efficacy of this “folk medicine” tradition and the door is opening to a more systematic and effective use of cannabinoid therapies.

While cannabis was widely used in the West during the 19th century, the technology was lacking to detect and understand its active ingredients, to standardize dosages of those ingredients, and to effectively deliver those ingredients, owing largely to cannabis’s non-water-solubility. Consequently, it became less widely used in the early 20th century and was eventually renamed “marijuana” and banned as part of a politically-driven prohibition craze. It was gradually removed from the pharmacopeiae of most advanced countries; research was discouraged, and when beneficial results were discovered, the studies were sometimes suppressed.

For example, when Senator Edward Kennedy (D-MA) was recently diagnosed recently with a form of brain cancer, malignant glioma, the media largely ignored reports from the medical cannabis community of studies showing that cannabinoids can kill glioma cancer cells.

Nearly a decade ago, the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws’ weekly news release for December 31, 1998 reported that “Cell studies performed by researchers at Madrid’s Universidad Complutense demonstrate that THC, one of the active compounds in marijuana, can induce cell death in certain brain tumor cells without affecting the surrounding healthy cells.”

Dr. Franjo Grotenhermen of the German-based Association for Cannabis as Medicine (ACM) proposed that marijuana’s constituents may one day play a role in cancer treatment. “It is desirable to have a substance that induces programmed cell death in tumor cells but not in health cells for the treatment of cancer,” he wrote in the December 13 issue of the ACM-Bulletin. “It has been demonstrated by the Spanish scientists … that THC could be such a substance.

Known Facts about Tamiflu and Donald RumsfeldIn October 2005 the Pentagon ordered vaccination of all US military personnel worldwide against what it called Avian Flu, H5N1. Scare stories filled world media. Then, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld announced he had budgeted more than $1 billion to stockpile the vaccine, Oseltamivir sold under the name, Tamiflu. President Bush called on Congress to appropriate another $2 billion for Tamiflu stocks.

What Rumsfeld neglected to report at the time was a colossal conflict of interest. Prior to coming to Washington in January 2001, Rumsfeld had been chairman of a California pharmaceutical company, Gilead Sciences.

Gilead Sciences held exclusive world patent rights to Tamiflu, a drug it had developed and whose world marketing rights were sold to the Swiss pharma giant, Roche. Rumsfeld was reportedly the largest stock holder in Gilead which got 10% of every Tamiflu dose Roche sold.
* When it leaked out, the Pentagon issued a curt statement to the effect that Secretary Rumsfeld had decided not to sell but to retain his stock in Gilead, claiming that to sell would have indicated something to hide. That agonizing decision won him reported added millions as the Gilead share price soared more than 700% in weeks.
Known Side-Effects

Tamiflu is no mild candy to be taken lightly. It has heavy side effects. It contains matter that could have potentially deadly consequences for a person’s breathing and often reportedly leads to nausea, dizziness and other flu-like symptoms. (It causes flu symptoms!!!)
Since the outbreak of Swine Flu Panic (not Swine Flu but Swine Flu Panic) sales of Tamiflu as well as any and every possible drug marketed as flu related have exploded. Wall Street firms have rushed to issue buy recommendations for the company.

I will not be persuaded to trust myself with any product associated with this man and his corporation, and now that you have the facts you too have a choice.
