Correction. I didn't mean to say "good or bad", obviously anyone who would do such a thing would be bad.

Also, if anyone actually is advocating for depopulation, it's the fringe left environmentalist movement, whose leaders regularly extol the benefits thereof. And they are bitterly opposed to ANYTHING nuclear.

Hi Carol,

Your civil and open-minded attitude is refreshing -- most folks advocating that DU is the devil are locked into that position literally like it was their religion, and any questioning of it is met with bitter hostility.

To start out, the rumor about Lebanese radiation has been quashed by non other than the Laka Foundation, who look to me to be anything but friendly to anything nuclear:

http://www.laka.org/info/publicaties/vu/2006-lebanon-eng.html

And of course the UN couldn't exactly be described as a pro-Israel organization, that wouldn't jump right on the existence of radioactive bombs if they indeed existed:

http://postconflict.unep.ch/publications/UNEP_Lebanon.pdf
(17 mb pdf)

This destructive rumor has been propagated as fact, by Moret and others, and unfortunately by you as well. Certainly no good can come from falsely convincing the Arab/Muslim world that their lands and people have been deliberately poisoned, especially by their arch-enemy Israel.

Not exactly helpful in these troubled times.

As for diabetes, putting aside the fact that diabetes is largely the result of lifestyle and diet, if anything, low level radiation may be a preventative:

http://tinyurl.com/3734d7

In fact, there's a huge body of scientific literature that concludes that low level radiation is BENEFICIAL for a variety of health woes, including cancer:

http://tinyurl.com/357qsx

But ask yourself this. Why would anyone, good or bad, seek to depopulate the planet through means that, according to Moret, would make the planet inhospitable to everyone for 4.5 billion years, including themselves or the select few they let live?

Wouldn't there be literally hundreds of vastly more sensible ways to achieve this end, assuming of course that there actually is such a nefarious wish?

Hi Alan,
You sound very sure that all the sources that I have researched are wrong, and of course, if you have closed your mind to other possibilities, then there is nothing I, or anyone else could say that would help you.

It would be poor research on my part to rely on only one source, and to that end I have a taped interview with Dr. Doug Rokke Phd. Former Director of the US Army Depleted Uranium Project.

If you believe, and have reliable sources that refutes all of this information, I would love to hear what you have to say, and I will be happy to post it here.

However, it will never be enough to say, "It isn't true, because it just isn't true."
